Reviews Dashboard

The reviews dashboard shows all the reviews collected by or imported into EpicApp. 



Sub options are explained as under:

  1. Search Bar”: You can search through all columns to find a particular product review. The search bar uses “contains” filter.

  2. “More Filters”: If you wish to apply multiple filters together, for e.g. Source = call and customer name contains Emily, same can be done from this button.

  3. “Publish”: The selected reviews can be published on the product page using this button.

  4. “Unpublish”: The selected reviews can be unpublished on the product page using this button. Reviews are only unpublished and not deleted.

  5. “Bulk Actions”: This has following sub-options:
    1. Import Reviews: Use this option to import reviews via csv. Useful when switching to EpicApp from some other review app. Details can be found on “Import Reviews” page.

    2. Export All Reviews: This exports all the reviews collected by EpicApp over entire duration since install in csv format. Details can be found on “Export All Reviews

    3. Delete Reviews: This option is to delete the reviews in bulk. All the selected reviews via checkbox are deleted permanently via this option. Use this with caution as the action is irreversible.

       

  6. Rating column: Shows rating / number of stars received for the product review. Possible values are 1,2,3,4 and 5.

  7. Reviewed Date column: Shows the date when the review was collected. Also shows associated order number with the review (order number is not shown for imported reviews). Clicking on order number takes you to “Order Details” page.

     

  8. Review column: Shows the body of the review collected. You can hover the mouse on view / eye icon to preview full review. Clicking the view/eye icon takes you to the review on the frontend product page.

  9. Source column: Shows the source via which review was collected. Possible values are call, email, csv etc.

  10. Product column: Shows the product name for which the review has been collected. Clicking the product name takes you to edit product page on shopify store backend.

  11. Customer column: Shows customer name who gave the review. Clicking on the same takes to “Customer Details”

  12. Reply column: This helps you post a reply to the review received. If reply is already posted, the button changes to “Update”. Reply can be of two types:
    1. Public Reply: A public reply to review is visible to all visitors on the product page

    2. Private Reply: A private reply to review is visible only to the customer who has placed that order. Reply is visible only when that customer visits the product page. Not visible to other customers

  13. Publish column: The slider shows the publish status of the review. Can also be used to manually publish or unpublish a review.

  14. Remove column: This can be used to remove / permanently delete a review. Use this with caution as the action is irreversible.

     

How to check the look of frontend review widget:

For this you can use the “See how it looks” button on the page. It shows image of a some sample reviews so that you can check the look before actual reviews start pouring in.
